American roots: New Orleans, New York, chicago, and more...
Friday, December 29 | 7:30 | Phoenixville Area Middle School
Join us for an evening celebrating original American Music: from Broadway Musicals of NYC and Jazz Clubs of Chicago, to brass bands of New Orleans and soundtracks of Hollywood. With selections from Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Leonard Bernstein, John Williams (and more), there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
We are offering 3 tiers of tickets for this performance (general admission $28, prime center orchestra $42, and a VIP experience that includes a pre-concert dinner and the best seats in the house $100). Tickets are available by clicking the link below or by calling our box office at 610.401.3650.
5:30 | pre-concert dinner: a NOLA New Year
Before the concert in the same venue, join us for dinner and a New Orleans themed party celebrating Scott & Susan Bentley for their support of our symphony and numerous other charities around the region. The family-friendly event will feature a New Orleans inspired dinner menu created by Chef Jim Switzenberg of the John Wright Restaurant, French Quarter "mocktails," raffles, silent auction, and a chance to mingle with our musicians!
